These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") govern your use of the PrEPPED mobile application ("the app", "PrEPPED", "we", "our"). By downloading or using PrEPPED, you agree to these Terms.

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using PrEPPED, you confirm that you are at least 17 years of age and agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the app.

2. Description of Service

PrEPPED is a personal health tracking tool that helps you log PrEP medication doses, sexual encounters, STI test results, vaccine records, and related health information. All data is stored locally on your device.

3. Not Medical Advice

PrEPPED does not provide medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment. The app is an organizational tool for tracking your health activities. Information displayed in the app — including protection status indicators, testing reminders, and educational content — is for informational purposes only.

Always consult a qualified healthcare provider for medical decisions, including but not limited to:

• Starting, stopping, or changing PrEP medication
• Interpreting STI test results
• Making treatment decisions after a positive test result
• Vaccine scheduling and eligibility
• Any health concerns related to sexual activity

Do not delay seeking medical advice or disregard medical guidance because of information presented in PrEPPED.

4. User Responsibility

You are solely responsible for:

• The accuracy of data you enter into the app
• Maintaining the security of your device and any biometric lock settings
• Backing up your device if you wish to preserve your data
• Any decisions you make based on information displayed in the app

5. Subscriptions (PrEPPED Pro)

PrEPPED offers an optional paid subscription ("PrEPPED Pro") that unlocks additional features. Subscriptions are billed through Apple's App Store and are subject to Apple's terms of service.

• Payment is charged to your Apple ID account at confirmation of purchase
• Subscriptions automatically renew unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period
• You can manage or cancel subscriptions in your Apple ID account settings
• No refunds are provided for partial subscription periods

6. Affiliate Links

PrEPPED may include links to third-party services (such as STI testing providers). Some of these links are affiliate links, meaning we may receive a commission if you make a purchase. These links are clearly presented and do not affect the price you pay. We are not responsible for the products, services, or privacy practices of third-party providers.

7. Intellectual Property

PrEPPED, including its design, code, content, and branding, is owned by PrEPPED and protected by copyright and other intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or reverse-engineer the app or any of its components.

8. Data and Privacy

Your use of PrEPPED is also governed by our Privacy Policy. By using the app, you acknowledge and agree to the data practices described therein.

9. Disclaimer of Warranties

PrEPPED is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied. We do not warrant that the app will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of harmful components.

We make no guarantees about the accuracy, reliability, or completeness of any health-related calculations, reminders, or status indicators displayed in the app.

10. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, PrEPPED and its creators shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the app. This includes, without limitation, damages related to health decisions made using information from the app.

Our total liability for any claim arising from your use of PrEPPED shall not exceed the amount you paid for the app or subscription in the 12 months preceding the claim.

11. Termination

You may stop using PrEPPED at any time by deleting the app from your device. We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue the app at any time without notice.

12. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated effective date. Continued use of the app after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

13. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the United States. Any disputes arising from these Terms or your use of PrEPPED shall be resolved in the courts of competent jurisdiction.
